Sam McManus was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, to a family that wasn't particularly keen on secular music. So it's no wonder he still maintains an affinity for Christian music, and no surprise that he still feels a guilty thrill every time he listens to heavy metal. But he likes what he likes, and he's always been addicted to variety, so you can imagine what's in his collection. Speaking of his collection, he owns more music than he thought he would ever see in his lifetime, much less listen to, but he's happy with it, and it's happy with him.
He is also a prolific writer, maintaining a blog (samsonlinejournal.com) that he contributes to several times a week. A published author, Sam also has two novels for sale, and a third on the way: Detours, The Absolute Contingency, and the soon to be released Leaves in Fall, available through both Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Oh, and he has also published two compilations of his poetry throughout the years: Objects, and Subjects, also available through the same booksellers.
So there's that. And now he's here sharing some of his music, and some of his stories with you. Enjoy.
